The official match schedule for the much-anticipated 2025 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships in Adelaide has been unveiled. This event promises world-class action from November 14 to 23, 2025, and tickets are already available.
A total of 96 teams—48 men`s and 48 women`s pairs—representing 40 nations will compete for the world champion title. The 10-day tournament will offer continuous excitement across two venues: The Drive and Pinky Flat/Tarntanya Wama.
Olympic gold medalist Natalie Cook, Ambassador for the Championships, officially presented the schedule. She highlighted that the event will be a celebration of top athletes, Australian culture, and Adelaide`s vibrant energy as a major event host.

The highly anticipated `Green & Gold` super session on opening night`s center court will showcase consecutive Australian teams and Olympic champions. The session kicks off with Clancy/Milutinovic (AUS) facing J. Zh. Wang/X. Y. Xia (CHN), followed by Paris Olympic gold medalists Åhman/Hellvig (SWE) against Burnett/Hodges (AUS), and concluding with Nicolaidis/Carracher (AUS) versus Iliyas/El Gharouti (MAR). Tickets for this exciting session are quickly selling out.
The initial weekend of competition promises to thrill fans with many prominent athletes participating.
Beyond the 40 nations, a record nine Australian teams will compete. The roster includes Olympic champions like Ana Patrícia/Duda (BRA) in both men`s and women`s categories, and current world champions Cheng (USA) and Perusic/Schweiner (CZE).
Paris Olympians Izac Carracher and Mark Nicolaidis attended today`s event with other dignitaries to learn about their upcoming opponents.
